Laura is a District Science Coach in the 7th Largest School District in the U.S.  In that role, she supports the K-5 science teachers at 20 schools. For the past 12 years, she has also been a science content trainer and curriculum writer.  The advent of Covid has added the skill of virtual content creator/editor on the Canvas Platform.  An alumna of Honeywell's Educator Space Academy in 2010, her passion for earth/space science has resulted in leading tours for numerous schools and teacher groups through the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.  Organizing Family Stem Nights is also a passion as she works to keep families excited about science through hands-on activities that can be expanded upon at home.  She has been an educator in Hillsborough County for 38 years.
