The first rule of cosplay: Costumes are clothing!  Chat with some seasoned cosplayers about finding a place for pockets, sitting down in your costume, modifying existing clothes for cosplay, making screen accurate pieces and what to do when you've gotta make that tricky armor or prop from scratch!
