Michales Joy writes fantasy and horror from Joplin, Missouri, where he lives with his wife and two teenagers. First published in 1995, he has written novels, short stories, screenplays, comics, and background settings for games. Season of Peril, Strange Ingredients, and Red Diamond are some of his titles to date. He is currently working on Red Diamond 2 and 3, a setting for a wargame he also designed, a werewolf screenplay, always a few short stories in fits and starts, and too much daily coffee. He loves to talk and teach anything to do with writing, so feel free to contact him. The rest of his life is unimportant and mostly boring.
