Vanessa MacLaren-Wray writes over-researched speculative fiction, analyzes electric power systems, invents messy science projects for kids, and like to play with cameras and robots. Her first SF book, All That Was Asked, came out just in time for the pandemic. Since then, she's had three short stories published. The sequel to All That Was Asked is coming from Water Dragon Publishing in November 2022, and she's also part of a new shared-world project, The Truck Stop at the Center of the Galaxy, with two stories out by July.
