Strange New Worlds

How:
Spacecraft and telescopes have revealed a large number of strange places in the universe.  We will talk about recent discoveries about new worlds, ranging from asteroids and comets to Mars to Pluto to extrasolar planets.

-Keri Bean, NASA/JPL.  Keri does mission operations for the Mars Exploration Rover and Dawn spacecraft.

-Michael Busch, SETI Institute.  Michael does planetary astronomy, focused on near-Earth asteroids

-Sanjoy Som, NASA/Ames.  Sanjoy does astrobiology and atmospheric geology.
