So You Want to be a Jedi: The 101 on Becoming One with the Force

With the resurgence of Star Wars fandom due to the release of the Force Awakens, more and more people want to create costumes from the Star Wars universe. One of the easiest ways to get started is to be a “generic” Jedi. But being generic doesn’t mean grabbing a brown bathrobe and a stick. Let us help you create a character and outfit you with ideas from tunics to boots to the most ubiquitous symbol of a Jedi - a lightsaber. We will offer links, resources and tips on how to make yourself look like you’re really part of the galaxy far, far away. With your completed costume, you should be able to submit membership to the various organizations that support Jedi costuming.
