Rebecca has loved telling stories as long as she can remember. In third grade she wrote her first science fiction book. In it, the bionic woman met Captain Kirk and flew off in the Enterprise only to discover that Wonder Woman’s race actually came from another planet.
Since that time, Rebecca Inch-Partridge has written a Young Adult Science Fantasy Novel,Escaping the Dashia, which she is currently shopping to editors and agents. She has had several short stories and articles published in small press and online magazines. She has also received honorable mention in the Writers of the Future contest a few times. Her story, "Babies and Bugs" was recently published in Nova Science Fiction Magazine.
Rebecca is an active member of Gold Country Writers where she serves as a mentor and the leader of two breakout critique groups. She also enjoys assisting authors by serving as a freelance editor.
For day jobs, Rebecca has worked on an ambulance, been a social worker, and directed activities at a senior living community. Currently, she is the office manager for a biotechnology trade show company where her duties include writing articles about research breakthroughs at universities across the U.S.
She invites you to read or listen to some of her short stories on her website www.RIPartridge.com. Teens are encouraged to enter her writing contest, which runs through the end of May. From her website you can also join her Chapter of the Week Club and read her nuclear apocalyptic novel entitled SURVIVING THE FALL.
Her young adult science fiction novel, ESCAPING THE DASHIA is due out in spring 2023.
