She has had several short stories and articles published in small press and online magazines. She has also received honorable mention in the Writers of the Future contest a few times. Her story, "Babies and Bugs" was recently published in Nova Science Fiction Magazine.
Rebecca is an active member of Gold Country Writers where she serves as a mentor and the leader of two breakout critique groups. She also enjoys assisting authors by serving as a freelance editor.
For day jobs, Rebecca has worked on an ambulance, been a social worker, and directed activities at a senior living community. Currently, she is the office manager for a biotechnology trade show company where her duties include writing articles about research breakthroughs at universities across the U.S.
