Not Just for Kids Anymore

When:
11:30 AM, Monday 28 May 2018 (1 hour 30 minutes)
Where:
San Mateo Marriott - Synergy 1
How:
Young Adult, New Adult and Midgrade fiction are written for younger audiences, but, over the past decade, the genres have become increasingly attractive to adults. The upside to this is parents and grandparents casually chatting with their teens about Harry Potter and The Hunger Games. The downside is increasingly adult content in YA. From human sacrifices in The Hunger Games to domestic violence in the Twilight series - have we gone too far?
