R. L. King is the author of the Alastair Stone Chronicles urban fantasy series as well as the Shadowrun RPG novel Borrowed Time and numerous bits of Shadowrun game material published by Catalyst Game Labs. She is a member of the SFWA, Horror Writers’ Association, and the International Association of Media Tie-In Writers, who nominated her for a Scribe Award in 2016 (she lost to a Star Wars novel, so she doesn’t feel too bad). When she’s not busy making life a living hell for her beloved characters, she enjoys watching Doctor Who and Lucifer, playing board games, MMORPGs, and tabletop RPGs, and trying to figure out ways to exercise that don’t bore her stiff. She lives in San Jose with her understanding spouse, a herd of extremely photogenic cats, and a crested gecko named Lofwyr. You can find her at alastairstonechronicles.com, or on Facebook at Facebook.com/AlastairStoneChronicles.
