Leigh Perry is actually two authors. As Leigh, she writes the Family Skeleton mysteries featuring adjunct professor Georgia Thackery and her pal Sid, an ambulatory crime-solving skeleton. The Skeleton Stuffs a Stocking is the sixth and most recent. As Toni L.P. Kelner, she’s written eleven mystery novels and co-edited seven anthologies with Charlaine Harris. Leigh and Perry combined have written some three dozen short stories, including the recent “Now Hiring Nasty Girlz” in Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine. Kelner won the Agatha for Best Short Story and a Career Achievement award from the late, lamented RT BOOKclub. She’s also been nominated for the Anthony, the Macavity, and the Derringer. No matter what you call her, she lives north of Boston with her husband—fellow Boskone panelist Steve Kelner, one of her daughters, and a guinea pig named Clara.
