A native of Kentucky, Isadora Deese is a graduate of Indiana University and Boston University Master’s Playwriting Program. Her writing explores the evolving connections between technology, art, and nature that are shaping our near future. Two parts of her Roan and Judge novel series have been published by Pelekinesis Press: Right of Capture (2016) http://pelekinesis.com/catalog/isadora_deese-right_of_capture.html and Riven's Path (2018). http://pelekinesis.com/catalog/isadora_deese-rivens_path.html Her current projects include a near future sci fi episodic TV series called Counter Glow and a serial procedural podcast called The Sequence. Isadora co-wrote Adventures in Synthetic Biology with Drew Endy and the MIT Synthetic Biology Working Group, illustrated by Chuck Wadey, the first comic to be on the cover of Nature. She is married to writer and historian R.S. Deese. They live in the Boston area with their three sons and two cats.
