Faye Ringel, Professor Emerita of Humanities, U.S. Coast Guard Academy, has published New England's Gothic Literature (1995) and many articles in scholarly collections, encyclopedias and journals on (among other subjects) New England vampires, Lovecraft, King, Shirley Jackson, Dunsany, Tolkien, Jewish folklore, and Greer Gilman. Her CD is Hot Chestnuts. She plays keyboard and sings with the Klezmer band Klezmenschen. She directed the SF-themed play Marjorie Prime for the Chelsea Players of Norwich. Her first fiction publication will appear in the forthcoming anthology of New England folk horror, Would But Time Await. She attended her first Boskone 50 years ago, and has been a program participant since the late 80s.
