Vandana Singh is an Earthling, an Indian, and a denizen of the Boston area, where she writes science fiction and professes physics at a small and lively public university. A former particle physicist, her current academic work is on a transdisciplinary conceptualization of climate change, at the intersection of science, society and justice. Her short fiction has been published in numerous venues, and reprinted in several Year's Best collections, including, most recently, The Best of World SF; her collection, Ambiguity Machines and Other Stories (2018), was a finalist for the Philip K.
