Lavish Bangia
Lavish leads the pre-grad talent development vertical at MaRS. Working
closely with both sides of the talent economy (institutions and students on one
side and corporate partners and SMEs on the other), he ensures that students
are equipped with the right mindsets and skills, and employers stay invested in
developing their future workforce. At MaRS, Lavish leads the federally
sponsored work-integrated learning program.
Lavish brings multiple years of senior leadership and project management
experience. He has held senior management roles at large multinational
organizations and has led two Edutech startup organizations to success. Before
he came to MaRS, Lavish worked as Associate Director, International Business
Development for George Brown College.
Lavish holds a master’s degree in sociology, a bachelor’s of commerce degree,
and has completed a post-graduate program in business. He specializes in
managing operations, sales and business development, and has worked with most
emerging education technologies.
