Talya Feldman is the Senior Director of Operations for IsraAID-US. After graduating from Yale with a degree in psychology, Talya spent worked on family based interventions at a Stanford psychiatry clinic. She joined IsraAID in January 2016 in response to the refugee crisis in Europe. She was based in Lesbos, Greece with IsraAID's medical and psychosocial humanitarian response team, working with the thousands of refugees arriving on the shore daily. She also worked at a refugee camp at the border between Greece and Macedonia where she led psychosocial interventions and built a volunteer training and support program. This past summer she worked with the IsraAID team in Berlin as well as helped lead a team to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in response to the devastating flooding there. Talya currently leads the education, outreach, and recruitment programs for the US headquarters.
