This session will be a moderated, yet candid, conversation with rabbis and attorneys who have substantial experience in rabbinic employment contract negotiations.  We will focus on the process of negotiation, the personal and professional relationships with lay leaders and how they affect the negotiations dynamic, thinking strategically about how one negotiation may impact the next, and how best to partner with an attorney and when it makes sense to go it alone.
