In recent years a growing number of works by Liberal Jewish thinkers have been translated into Hebrew. We will take a look at excerpts of recent translations of Rachel Adler, Eugene Borowitz, Abraham Joshua Heschel, and Arthur Green and consider the significance, the relation to the original, and the quality of these translations. What does all this tell us about Israeli society?
