In Every Generation: Aggadot and the Exodus (Session 1)

Theme:
Beit Midrash
What:
Workshop
When:
3:30 PM, Wednesday 21 Mar 2018 (45 minutes)
Where:
Hotel Irvine - Grand Ballroom - Salon D
How:
We will be studying aggadot on the experience of "ordinary" Israelites and Egyptians during slavery, the plagues and the Exodus from Egypt. Our focus will be on "seeing ourselves as if we had gone out of Egypt." How did the rabbis imagine the feelings of the people in the midst of upheaval, uncertainty, and the transition from slavery to freedom? How do we capture those feelings at the Seder and bring the Exodus experience into our daily lives?
