Lindsey Danziger, Joy Friedman, Michael Namath, Jonah Pesner, Julie Saxe-Taller, and Lee Winkelman. In 1963, 55 years ago, Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King shared these true and inspiring words, “We are now faced with the fact that tomorrow is today. We are confronted with the fierce urgency of now. In this unfolding conundrum of life and history, there ‘is’ such a thing as being too late. This is no time for apathy or complacency. This is a time for vigorous and positive action.” In 2018, a time of immense political division, when the most vulnerable populations in this country live in the balance of a political quagmire, we are called to act morally, decisively, and collectively. Join the RAC to learn about how you can move your community or congregation into action and shape future strategies for the Reform Movement’s response to the Urgency of Now in 2018.
