Getting Good at Getting Older: Boomers Changing the Paradigm of Aging

What:
Workshop
When:
3:15 PM, Tuesday 20 Mar 2018 (1 hour 15 minutes)
Where:
Hotel Irvine - Theater
How:
"Boomers" (people born between 1946 and 1964) are the first generation in human history …  to reasonably anticipate living … into their 80’s and 90’s if not beyond …
Jews (as others) are not only living longer, they are living in an age of meaning-seeking, with the interest and wherewithal to make living a life of meaning an ultimate and reasonably obtainable objective … "(Dr. Steven Cohen) Boomers constitute almost 1/3 of Reform congregants. How can our synagogues and other Jewish communities help them find what many are looking for – meaning and purpose and strategies to age successfully?
