A Tour of Two Cities: Is Over-the-Rhine a Study in Urban Renewal or Gentrification? Sponsored by The Jewish Federation of Cincinnati

When:
11:00 AM, Wednesday 3 Apr 2019 (3 hours)
Where:
Cincinnati, OH - Offsite
How:

Rabbinic colleagues will have the opportunity to walk Cincinnati's historic Over-the-Rhine district and experience its startling transformation though the distinctly different lenses of urban renewal and gentrification. On successive tours led by Dr. Mark Mussman of the Greater Cincinnati Homeless Coalition and Eric Avner of the Haile/U.S. Bank Foundation, rabbis will witness first hand the dramatic economic changes and debate the benefits and costs of what is either urban renewal, gentrification, or perhaps, both.

Meet in the Hotel Lobby at 11:00 AM.
