Bringing Freedom to the Captive: Working with Faith Partners for Criminal Justice Reform

What:
Workshop
When:
11:15 AM, Wednesday 3 Apr 2019 (1 hour 15 minutes)
How:
Interfaith coalitions have been essential to progress on social justice concerns. In Ohio, rabbis and other faith leaders have worked together to fight racial disparities in mass incarceration through state-wide legislative issues. We will explore how these faith partnerships expand our impact as we raise up the stories of addiction and prison, seeking a criminal justice system that is rehabilitative rather than punitive.
