Progressive Zionism: Maintaining Our Values and Healing the Rift

Theme:
2 Hour Session
What:
Workshop
When:
1:45 PM, Monday 1 Apr 2019 (2 hours 15 minutes)
How:
How do each of us define, and work toward, the goal of being progressive Zionists in a way that both supports Israel and upholds our own values? In this special double-block session, we will work on creating a framing to help us understand and work with our own nuanced connections in light of this particular moment in Israel and America. We will hear stories from colleagues in the field in both the US and Israel who are engaging in rift-healing work; workshop with each other on challenges we're facing around Israel in our own communities; and think together about how we guide our communities while maintaining integrity in a world of changing stances and relationships.
