The Opioid Epidemic Wears a Magen David

What:
Workshop
When:
2:00 PM, Wednesday 3 Apr 2019 (1 hour 30 minutes)
How:
Opiod misuse and abuse is an epidemic in Ohio, as well as all across North America. As rabbis, we are well aware of the stigma attached to addiction, and this crisis is no exception. How can we as rabbis help reduce the stigma? And how can we as rabbis offer resources and other pathways to recovery and support? This session will cover Jewish texts, public resources, and a timely window into what is current on this very serious issue.
