You Shall Be a Blessing: The Heart of Jewish Spirituality

What:
Workshop
When:
2:00 PM, Wednesday 3 Apr 2019 (1 hour 30 minutes)
How:
Sh'mot 12:1-3 speaks to the heart of Jewish spirituality offering us both a path—journeying inward and freeing ourselves of the constricting narratives of country, kin, and parental bias—and a goal: being a blessing to all the families of the earth, human and otherwise. Together, path and goal provide us with a means by which to measure the spiritual quality of our Jewish lives and teachings. In this session we will explore a contemplative understanding of Lech L'cha and learn several Jewish contemplative practices for shifting from mochin d’katnut (narrow mind) to mochin d’gadlut (spacious mind) to be a blessing to all the families of the earth.
