Rabbi Coran was ordained in 1993 in Cincinnati at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion.  Before returning to Cincinnati, She served congregations in Ann Arbor, Michigan and Worcester Massachusetts as well as serving as the Jewish Associate Chaplain at Williams College.  Rabbi Coran has been the Senior Rabbi of Rockdale Temple in Cincinnati since 2004 where she has been actively involved in Social Justice initiatives and in supporting HUC-JIR.  For the past few years, she has been working with other Ohio Reform clergy in forming Reform Ohio, a state-wide organizing collaborative.  Rabbi Coran is married to Rabbi Matthew Kraus (C91) and they have four children.
