Hilly Haber

Hilly is a fifth year rabbinic student at HUC-JIR in New York City. Originally from Brooklyn, Hilly lives in South Orange with her wife, Rabbi Rachel Marder, and teaches in the Rikers Island Jail Complex with Manhattan College, and serves as chaplain at Northern State Prison in Newark, NJ. Hilly holds a BA from Mount Holyoke College in religion and German Studies, a Masters of Theological Studies from Harvard Divinity School, and will begin a PhD Program in the Fall of 2019 at Union Theological Seminary in Social Ethics. Hilly is a Wexner Graduate Fellow and a Tisch Fellow.
