"The Career Exploration Centre (CEC) at SAIT is an experiential, learner-centered facility for youth in grades 8, 9 and 10. The CEC’s flagship program, SAITCity, allows students to come to SAIT’s campus to undertake career mapping and role-play various occupations. It has proven to be a valuable support for students as they select courses and explore post-secondary possibilities. In this hands-on session, you will sample career activities and increase your understanding of how to incorporate the SAITCity experience into your curriculum. You will have a chance to meet SAIT instructors who can help you incorporate occupational-specific learning into your classroom.
You’ll leave this session better able to discuss careers with your students and articulate how their current studies relate to their future career aspirations."
