The son of immigrants, Mark Ruthenberg has travelled across much of Canada and has had many interesting careers, including chartered accountant, computer trainer, computer book author (300 titles), multimedia developer, and most recently website designer. In 1999, he created the travel website and the local search websites, which attract a half million visitors a month, with a free directory.
He has spoken to groups from elementary grades up to post-secondary, evangelizing optimal/appropriate use of new technologies, and on the business and career opportunities they provide.
