"Are your students highly motivated by music but you aren't sure how to use it effectively in your classroom? Are you a classroom or music teacher who teaches students with moderate to severe cognitive disabilities?

This session will demonstrate how to develop music lesson plans that effectively target the development of non-music skills including: receptive language, social interaction, fine/gross motor skills, and leisure skills. Participants will also discuss how to create student-centered IPP goals that can be targeted through music. You do not need to be an experienced musician to participate in this session - the ideas discussed can be implemented by everyone!"
