Hip Hop is a fun accessible way to get kids moving and exploring dance in the classroom. Learn key Hip Hop concepts and foundations, explore cultural roots that tie into identity and community, and explore choreographic routines that express this unique vocabulary and approach to music and movement. This session is for teachers who just want to dance, who want to dance without being intimidated, who just want to express themselves and be comfortable and who want to explore what Hip Hop is and what makes it different from other dance forms. Paced for an intermediate dancer or dance specialist, but a friendly environment for real beginners and less confident dancers.
