This session will look at the place of Spirituality in the lives of Children and Youth. It will be seen that our deepest humanity, sitting alongside our thoughts and feelings, has been neglected at great cost to both educators and students alike. This workshop will explore the difference between Religion and Spirituality, will describe the price paid for neglect of the Heart/ Spirit and offer ideas for helping restore our fullest and most authentic ways of being Human. This workshop draws from Developmental, Humanistic, Psycho-Social, Philosophical and Existential perspectives.
