Sean Binder teaches English and Social Studies at Centennial High School, and graduated from the Werklund School of Education at the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of History degrees. Sean is inspired by uncovering the stories and traditions of places he has traveled to in Europe and North America which has fueled a lifelong interest in history and linguistics. Over the past two years, Sean has enjoyed learning about historical simulations that support student understanding in Social Studies. Looking to the past as a guide for the future, Sean continues to learn about possible visions for sustainable development from research publications in Europe.
