Laurelle has been teaching with the Calgary Board of Education for over 22 years. During this time she has worked in French Immersion Schools from Kindergarten to Grade 6 settings as a teacher, resource teacher, Acting Assistant Principal, Vice-Principal and Learning Leader. She is very passionate about second language learning through literacy. Read, Read, Read - On adore la lecture is often shared with all teachers, parents and most importantly students. Her experience in leading learning communities, calibrating with colleagues and collaborating at various levels including Alberta Learning and with CBE specialists and learning groups give her a unique perspective of teaching today's learners.
