Marc Affeld graduated in 2016 from the Werklund School of Education at the University of Calgary and is currently in his fourth year as a teacher with the Calgary Board of Education. He finds that bringing games into the classroom is an excellent way to engage students and foster creativity and teamwork.
Before becoming a teacher, Marc co-created an award winning radio series/podcast called “Today in Canadian History” that has been downloaded over 2 million times since it first aired. He also created an interactive radio game show called “3 Minutes: Fact or Fiction?” and an award winning documentary series that focused on education and its role in the creation of Canada’s Indian Residential Schools.
