I am in the 26th year of successful and productive teaching career spanning three continents: 17 years in Canadian public high schools and eight years as an international school educator and leader in Germany (four years) and Singapore (four years). I am a highly qualified International Baccalaureate Diploma, Middle Years, and Career Pathways educator. My content speciality is Secondary Mathematics. I have two advanced degrees: an M.Ed. (2013), and a Ph.D. (2018) from the University of Minnesota. The focus of my M.Ed. is on International Educational Leadership for the advancement of school-wide and district-wide reform initiatives for coherent, consistent and lasting school improvement.   The focus of my Ph.D. is on Organizational Leadership, Policy and Development. My doctoral dissertation is titled:  An analysis of leadership succession in international schools: novelty, disruption, and a path to resolution. My scholarly training enables me to develop, analyze, and manage whole-school policy. My wife and I are avid scuba-divers, gardeners, and general adventurers. I have two beautiful children and a lovely 7 year old grandchild.
