A drama teacher for 35 years, in Australia and Calgary Gail retired to teach Drama Education at U of C, while still teaching workshops at schools in Alberta and British Columbia. Gail has presented sessions at over 20 Teachers' Conventions in Alberta. She has written 2 books on the subject of stage violence as well as 5 teaching manuals. Gail has adjudicated the Theatre Saskatchewan Adult Full-length Drama Festival in Swift Current, Sask. and the Alberta One Act Play Festivals in both Red Deer and High River. In her spare time, Gail is the Artistic Director of The Unicorn Collective Theatre Company writing and presenting plays based on Canada's history, around Alberta.
