Mr. Van Es is physical therapist who is passionate about developing strategies and approaches that are impactful and empowering for teachers. Mr. Van Es has completed research exploring the teacher observed impact of short burst movement breaks (‘Brain Blasts’) on self-regulation, attention, behavior, anxiety, ASD, and student readiness to learn. He has also developed an innovative regulation model and approach, ‘The Regulation Platform & nuggets’. Mr. Van Es has developed the ‘Dopamine fix’ concept that helps explain the complex, and often misunderstood, world of ADHD. Mr. Van Es is currently developing a ‘Baseline classroom/student profile’ tool which, is an innovative approach to systematically and strategically identify strategies to support students/teachers and monitor the functional impact of strategies.
