Jennifer Howse is the Education Specialist at the Rothney Astrophysical Observatory. The RAO is a science facility operated by the University of Calgary's Physics and Astronomy department. Over the past 14 years, Jennifer has welcomed over 200,000 people to the observatory. She has conducted astrophysics programming and outreach activities that encourage students to create personal connections with the night sky. Jennifer is a member of the Metis Nation of Alberta and an active researcher in the histories and lifeways of Indigenous peoples of Western Canada.
