Michelle Bence is a passionate educator with over 18 years of experience teaching division I and II. She has worked extensively with Alberta Education developing assessments, as well as delivering literacy workshops around the province. Recently, Michelle successfully defended her Master's thesis at the University of Calgary, with a focus on teacher professional development and literacy learning. She is returning to the University to begin her PhD with a focus on oral language development in Fall 2019.
