Kiefer Waite is a settler pre-service teacher at the Werklund School of Education, and has an MA in English from the University of Saskatchewan and a BA (Honours) from Mount Royal University. Growing up in Treaty 7 territory, Kiefer saw the need for a wider acknowledgment of the relationships between schools and Indigenous communities and is a strong believer in the decolonizing potential of storytelling.
