Stephanie Hladik is a PhD Candidate in Learning Sciences at the Werklund School of Education, University of Calgary. Drawing from her academic background in Electrical Engineering, her research lies at the intersection of computing, educational design, and critical theory. Stephanie is passionate about helping students, teachers, and members of the public find new ways to interact with computing and coding - especially those people who have been marginalized by computing, or educators who are nervous about how exactly to bring computing into their classrooms, museums, and clubs.
