Christine Hewitt has more than twelve years’ experience teaching in elementary schools. She has done extensive research on the negative impact of clutter and chaos on student and teacher mental health and wellness. As a student teacher, she was fascinated by philosophies of Reggio Emilia and began exploring the concept of environment as the third teacher. She then conducted participatory action research in India, where she began to connect the impact of mindfulness and classroom design on student success. Christine is a certified yoga teacher who loves spending time with her family in the mountains. Her personal motto is you can never be too organized.
