Whether you rip up the dance floor on a regular basis or have two left feet, this workshop will show you how to use dance to incorporate fundamental movement skills in your classroom and improve physical literacy in any student. This energetic session will give you the tools to create engaging, productive movement based classes that will encourage your students building their confidence and ability.

The instructor will show you how to use dance programing tools to transcend the physical and cultural barriers which often impede participation in physical activities. The back-to-basics approach significantly builds transferable skills which can be applied to other physical pursuits (such as hockey) or improved daily activity (walking and outdoor play).
