Are you interested in learning more about the Reggio Emilia approach to teaching and learning? In this session, we will briefly explain the Reggio Emilia educational philosophy discussing image of the child, the 100 languages of the child, the importance of the learning community (students, parents, teacher, environment), and the environment as the third teacher. We will also share some of our project and provocation work via documentation within our own classrooms. In this session, you will also be given an opportunity to engage in a provocation with colleagues followed by time to reflect on and discuss how to bring this work in to your own classrooms in a meaningful way.
