Attention difficulties appears to be a common challenge facing teachers. Some students are diagnosed with ADHD and others simply present with attention difficulties. At times students may have comorbid diagnosis, which makes the supports even more complicated. This session draws on extensive research and literature review to translate a lot of in-depth insights about ADHD that are often misunderstood. The ‘Dopamine Fix’ is a creative concept developed and used to provide meaningful understandings about students with attention difficulties. This session is meant to empower teachers and provide realistic strategies that can be adapted to specific scenarios faced by teachers.
