Boys & Girls Clubs of Calgary (BGCC) is historically known for club activities that provide young people with safe spaces and trusted adults to engage in play, sports and learning activities. Today, we offer so much more: from programs for sexually exploited youth to newcomer settlement to housing supports for youth experiencing homelessness. In fact, BGCC offers programs and services to children and youth from the ages of 0– 24 in every quadrant of Calgary including staff in 18 high schools to support high school completion. In this session, educators will learn about the continuum of services that BGCC offers and how these services can support students to thrive at home, in school and the community.
