The process of Attuning, Attending and Aligning with those we are in a position to help and provide care to, allows us to help build their capacity to share, connect, and trust those who are offering those supports. Many students who require additional care and support have already had a multitude of adverse experiences and countless losses, which have created chaos, uncertainty, and at times, sheer terror in their lives. There is value in all human kind, and our youngest and most in need are the ones who are often asking for help in the most unhelpful ways. In order to truly provide therapeutic care, we must learn to Attune to what is happening in and around us, Attend to what the needs are, and work to Align with our students through building felt safety, trust, and understanding.

This workshop/presentation walks people through how to build effective therapeutic and Trauma-Informed approaches to forming connection, healing attachment, and strengthening ties.
