The transition to adulthood can be complicated. Deciding on how, and when, to pursue post-secondary training, employment, or moving out of the family home can seem overwhelming and impossible. For many students with autism, the launch into adulthood will require some support. In this presentation, participants will learn about a novel set of tools and programs to ease the transition planning process for individuals with autism and other neuro-diversities. These resources will be helpful to teachers, parents, and professionals who want to help prepare individuals for life after high school. Participants will learn be given access to a free online resource, as well as learn about transition planning workshops, and a one-to-one skills coaching program designed to improve transition outcomes.
